CIPROTEC is used to manage bacterial infections, including acne, rosacea, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and skin infections such as pustulitis. It contains the active ingredient ciprofloxacin.

A. CIPROTEC acne treatmentis available only with a doctor’s prescription. CIPROTEC is not recommended for use in patients with a past of acne topical or other skin conditions. If you suffer from rosacea, it is suggested starting as soon as the symptoms of rosacea are recognized and the treatment has started. If rosacea is associated with other skin disorders then it is not recommended to start with rosacea. It is only recommended to start rosacea with a low dose as it may worsen the patient’s skin appearance. It is not recommended to use CIPROTEC in patients with an enlarged prostate or with any other medical issue. It is also not recommended to use CIPROTEC in patients with an allergy to ciprofloxacin as it may cause serious allergic reactions.
